If you would like to join our social riding club on the farm, you need to first book an evaluation ride with us so that we can determine you’re riding abilities.

Riding Abilities:

A BEGINNER rider has limited experience, is unable to post to the trot and does not canter, and needs assistance to mount and dismount the horse.
A NOVICE rider is capable of mounting and dismounting unassisted, capable of applying basic aids, comfortable and in control at the walk, moderate length posting trots and short canters.
An INTERMEDIATE rider has a firm seat, is confident and in control of all paces (including posting trots, canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly.
A STRONG INTERMEDIATE rider is all of the above and is currently riding regularly, and is comfortable in the saddle for long hours.
An ADVANCED rider is all of the above, plus has and independent seat, soft hands and is capable of handling a spirited horse in open country.

2 x hour rides per month – R380 pm
4 x hour rides per month – R760 pm
6 x hour rides per month – R1012 pm
8 x hour rides per month – R1265 pm

2 x 2 hour rides per month - R632 pm
3 x 2 hour rides per month - R785 pm
4 x 2 hour rides per month - R1265 pm

5x 2 hour rides per month - R1645

Evaluation Ride is R200.00

General information:

-    Club fees is payable before the 5th of every month.
-    Riding gear is essential, we do have a “No hat no ride” policy.  For your own safety you are required to ride with a riding hat.
